LABUAN: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has detained three individuals, including two enforcement officers, on suspicion of using documents containing false information.
The documents were submitted for patrol task claims totalling over RM100,000. The suspects, including a woman in her 30s, were arrested around 2:30 pm at the Labuan MACC office. According to sources, the alleged incident took place in 2019 while the suspects were on duty in Labuan and Tawau.
Labuan MACC director Datu Robbyie Shym Datu Pindatun, confirmed the arrests. The case is being investigated under Section 18 of the MACC Act 2009. The three suspects will be brought to the Labuan Magistrate's Court tomorrow morning for remand application.
